Important-due to new insurance regulations, we may not be able to perform a skin test on your initial office visit (this may not apply to your insurance). In turn, we will schedule your skin testing after your first visit. Please note that when scheduled for skin testing, we ask you to stop using all antihistamines (Benadryl, Loratadine, etc.) 4 days prior to appointment. This may also include Tylenol P.M., medications for vertigo such as Meclizine, and various cold and allergy medications.
Finally, please take all of your prescription medications with you to your appointment or write down all medications and the doses taken. We look forward to seeing you at your appointment.
Please remember-we ask that you do not to use cologne, perfume, or scented lotions on your visit as some patients are sensitive to these scents.
